Miriam founded The Veterinary Wellness Centre with a clear vision — a practice where animals receive exceptional, integrated, unhurried care, and where their owners are treated as genuine partners in that care.
After graduating from the Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies in 2010, Miriam spent over a decade in clinical practice before establishing Botanical Veterinary Care Ltd in 2021. TWC Newcraighall opened in 2024.
Miriam's clinical interests include pain management, integrative approaches to veterinary medicine and feline welfare. She is a former trustee of the BVA Animal Welfare Foundation and is involved in the clinical direction of every aspect of the practice.
Miriam sees patients at Newcraighall and remains hands-on with clinical care. She is also known for following up after significant appointments — something clients consistently notice and appreciate.
