I took my older lady here when another vet had gave up and presumed her current illness had elevated and was said end of life care. after 5 mins it didnt relate. I came to vet wellness centre different approach all together very kind and went above board to accommodate her even helping me to get home. she recovered well after a few days and enjoyed the summer and her beach. when time came for her passing they were more than helpful, not being the easiest person to deal with they did a grand job and for that am very grateful and wouldnt hesitate about visiting. its not just a business approach they do very much care for the animals. I will be forever grateful for the time given with my wee dog where it may not have been possible had I listened to vet else where
We work with iCare Pet Crem — a family-run cremation service we trust completely. You contact them directly; we facilitate the introduction only.
iCare Pet Crem is Central Scotland's original individual pet cremation service, run by Alex Baxter and his team from their dedicated premises in West Lothian — just two minutes from the M8. Family-run since 2011, they work in collaboration with local funeral directors and are regulated by the Animal and Plant Health Agency (AHVLA).
What sets iCare apart is their commitment to individual-only cremations. Your pet is collected and cremated separately — never alongside other animals or clinical waste. You receive all of your pet's ashes, and only your pet's ashes. Their vehicles are purpose-built and discreet.
They also offer a return-to-home service — Alex's team can personally return your pet's ashes to you — and a range of caskets, urns and keepsakes if you would like something to hold on to. All arrangements and payment go directly between you and iCare. We have no financial relationship with them.
For owners who do not wish to have ashes returned, we can arrange communal cremation directly. Cat: £150 · Dog: £200.
